FCC is sponsoring buses!
In 2017, 250,000 activists, new and seasoned, joined advocates in Chicago in the fight for women’s rights and social justice. In 2018 we celebrate that movement and march our demands to the polls.
Women’s March on Chicago brings together women and allies in support of women’s rights including equal rights, equal pay, reproductive justice, affordable healthcare, affordable childcare, racial justice, voting rights, freedom from violence, LGBTQ+ rights, immigrant rights, fair wages, access for persons with disabilities, environmental protections, and other critical areas of focus.
Date: Saturday, January 20th
Cost: $20/person round trip (cash to be collected as you get on the bus)
Place: Crystal Lake Metra Station (free parking on Saturdays)
What: The buses will drop us off right at the start of the March at Grant Park. Last year it was very easy access. There is even a handicap accessible drop off point. There were lots of clean port-a-potties too!
Estimate Arrival back in Crystal Lake: 4:00pm
