Please plan to join us to celebrate FCC’s 175th Anniversary. We are blocking off Pierson Street in front of the church on the afternoon of Saturday, September 16th to throw a big party for the congregation!!
Thegood times will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. We plan to start serving food at 3 p.m. with hot dogs, veggie burgers, and pulled pork from our pig roast that we will be cooking on site. Sides dishes will also be served in typical picnic style. Water and pop will be available.
We plan to have live entertainment during this entire celebration including Emmy Award winning storyteller Jim May and two or three musical groups.
We will have a special area just for kids to have fun with an inflatable slide , a cotton candy machine, and many games.
Coming to this event will be many special quests including former ministers at FCC Jim Bidle, Ray Banner, Bette Zatau, and Budd Friend-Jones. We will have items to purchase such as t-shirts, coffee mugs, and Christmas ornaments commemorating our 175th Anniversary. We hope that you will be able to join us for this fun time. The 175th Anniversary Committee has been working very hard to make this a very enjoyable time for the entire family. We all make up the FCC family. Let’s all get together for this fun event and celebrate our history, enjoy our time together in the present, and dare to think what FCC can be like in the years ahead.
