This is our annual Pot Luck! If your last name begins with A-L, please bring a main dish, salad, or vegetable to share.
Our program for Thursday, November 2nd is on Service Flags to Honor our Military Personnel. We feel that this topic is important for ALL to hear, so we are inviting the men to join us for this event.
Following our fellowship lunch, we will hear from Mark Hudson, a Veteran that served in the Army from 1982-1988 as a paratrooper and drill sergeant. With his military background and sense of patriotism, he and his wife, Kristine, started a collection of service flags that families of active soldiers and deceased soldiers displayed in their windows. They research the history of each of the flags by trying to contact the families who owned them. He now has a collection of 100 flags. His presentations are to educate people about the importance of the flags.
