Tom Waselchuk excels in many styles of music ranging from folk and bluegrass to country and jazz. He has shared his music with FCC in 1999 and 2008 and is back again sharing the stage with Ruthie McQuinn on violin/vocals to celebrate American folk music, and in particular the music of Appalachia. Waselchuk and McQuinn will be sharing selections for ASP Sunday, October 27th, during both the 9am and 11am worship services, in celebration of FCC’s continued ministry through ASP. That afternoon, they will present a concert at 4pm. A free-will offering will be collected and nursery care will be provided.
The African Children’s Choir will present their “Just As I Am” tour which combines traditional hymns with African cultural sounds and a stunning visual story of God’s faithfulness. Don’t miss out on this uniquely immersive experience through song, dance and video story telling Sept. 20. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased online or at the door.
