Click to view full sizeDear Friends,

As visitors to the First Congregational Church, you may have many questions about the faith perspectives of our church. The following two evenings will offer an opportunity to have your questions answered. Attending these meetings is a way of helping you discover if you want to become a member of FCC.

"Informative Meeting" ~ This evening will give an overview of United Church of Christ and Theology. At this gathering you will also learn about First Congregational Church, what to expect from FCC and what you may contribute. You will have the opportunity to ask questions you may have about our church, programs and activities:
September 28, 2010 in the Library

"Food for the Journey" ~ This is an evening where new members and their Shepherds will come together, make some wonderful treats. There will be an opportunity to meet some of the FCC staff: October 5, 2010 in Fellowship Hall

New Member Joining ~ October 17, 2010 during the 9:00am Worship Service. We will meet in the Chapel at 8:00am for pictures, donuts and fellowship.

We are happy that you have chosen to be with us as a visitor and we invite you to consider joining our community of faith by becoming a member of our church family at that time.

If you are interested in joining FCC or have any questions, please call Amy Barry at 815-459-6010 ext. 30.

God Bless,
Amy Barry
Fellowship Circles
Fellowship Circles:

Fellowship Circles are groups of 16 to 20 FCC members. Each Fellowship Circle meets once a month with one couple or family from the Circle hosting the event. The group plans their own activities which may be adult-only or include entire families.

The Fellowship Circles are intended to be long-term commitments to the group. Meaningful friendships develop and can make the FCC experience more fulfilling.

New Fellowship Circles are created periodically as directed by expressed interest. If you would like to join a Fellowship Circle or learn more about them, please call the church at (815) 459-6010 and speak to Amy Barry at ext #30.
